As a boat owner, it’s important to prevent debris from entering your water pressure and washdown pumps. The water pressure pump should be protected by a strainer on the intake side that stops small materials from getting to it and damaging it.

The Jabsco Pumpgard strainer prevents particles from jamming valves and causing pump breakdowns. The Pumpgard is engineered with a screw-off, transparent housing for easy inspection and quick, in-place cleaning. This pump’s mesh option is 20 mesh, which is typically used in open-flow applications such as spigots and garden spray nozzles.
